Your Dream Outdoor Kitchen Awaits
The summer may be months away, but if you’re entertaining thoughts of creating an outdoor kitchen space – now’s the time to start planning.
First up, an outdoor kitchen doesn’t need to be big, but it does need to have all the essential areas. You’ll need a prep space, a cooking area, a serving area and somewhere to clean up. If you’re able to locate your outdoor kitchen just outside your indoor kitchen, you may be able to get away with only have a cooking and serving space as you can do your prep work and clean up inside.
To help your outdoor kitchen blend in to your exterior, choose complimentary colours and finishes. But also allow it to standout a bit by making it a focal point – add an eye-catching roofline overhead or some feature lighting for those evening cookouts.
